What am I doing?

It's been a while since I last blogged on my personal site. Most of my blogs have been to the http://lifeartschool.blogspot.com

At the moment I am focusing on pushing the art school as much as I can. The recession has finally hit my art as well. After selling continuesly throughout the recession from 2008 till now, I have finely started seeing a slow down in sales.

However, I cannot complain. I have sold whilst many others didn't. Things have been tough since April this year. In addition I still have really bad (and very painful) tennis elbow. After  x 2 cortisone injections I am still unable to move the arm without a lot of pain and swelling. It has forced me to slow down on my painting and just focus on the teaching.

I have kept on doing small realistic paintings when I can. This whole year I have only managed to paint  x 6 paintings so far.....but all things work for the good of those that trust. 

I have decided to see this year as a consolidating year and the good news is that we are moving to a bigger better house, with a bigger better studio! Yes!!! Finally a studio with a view!

Things will turn again. The school is a life saver as it gives me a reasonably reliable income. I am also a good teacher as the lifeart blogspot will show. I've had amazing feedback from magazines and clients on the high standard of the students work. I am proud of all of them.
